With your generous donation, the new construction of Sangawasa had started on the 10th of May 2018. The following are some photos taken during the construction.
Estimated cost of each Kuti is 400,000 Indian Rupees.
Anyone can still contribute for this meritorious event.

The following is a list of meritorious activities that people can still join with Baranasa Isipathanarama Katina Event 2018.

• There would 170 Maha Sanga attending for the Sangika Katina Dana On the 21st November 2018. It is a rare occasion to be involved in this meritorious deed. Please make a contribution any amount that you can afford for Dana.

• There will be monetary donation of $50 for the 170 MahaSanga ($50 X 170) & $50 worth Pirikara as well. $50 X 170 you can contribute with any amount

• Travel cost contributions required for the monks from the Maha Bodhi temples around India. $100 would be required for one monks travel. Anyone willing to participate can donate any amount. $100 x 20

• Once the Sri Lankan masons have finished construction of walls of the Sangawasa, the contract for construction of the roofs would be given to a group of Indian house building contractors.
• Donations for the construction of the Sangawasa can be handed in till the second week of November.

• For the period of 3 month of Vasa season there would be 12 to15 Maha Sanga who would take part in the morning and lunch Dana along with the evening Gilanpasa,

• Approximate 70 Dana days are left until now out of 120. For one day’s Dana (morning, lunch and evening Gilanpasa) approximately would cost about 5000 INR (which is around 10,000 Sri Lanka Rupees or around $ 100.)

• There will also be donations required for the travel and accommodation expenses of Maha Sanga who are traveling from Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand. Anyone willing to participate can donate any amount.
