The Consulate of Sri Lanka in Adelaide organised a Food Fair in conjunction with the Adelaide Sri Lankan Community Associations to raise funds for COVID 19 – Medical supplies assistance to Sri Lanka. Dr. Charitha Perera Consulate of Sri Lanka in Adelaide held several rounds of meetings with the Associations and the Food Fair was held on Sunday 14th June 2021 from 12.00. to 5.00 p.m. at the Hectorville Sports and Community Club Ground. Wide publicity was given and more than 600 foreign nationals including Australians, diplomats and Sri Lankans took part at the Fair. The Hon Vincent Tarzia MP, Minister for Police, Emergency Services and Correctional Services also attended the event.
