Australian Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs Alan Tudge accuses that applications for 50,000 applications for the illegal migration of the Labor Party into Sri Lanka were considered.
The Australian Central Government statistics report that the application for the citizenship of Australia has increased more than one day.
Around 189,000 applicants for Australian citizenship are currently waiting for their applications, the latest figures show.
In 2015, the number of people applying for Australian citizenship was 23,000, and by 2018 it was 8 times. According to Australian Home Affairs web site, 137,750 people were granted Australian citizenship by 2016-17, and are said to be in more than 120 countries across the globe.
India took that year, while the United Kingdom took second place and Philippines was placed third. Sri Lankans 4,487 were eligible for Australian citizenship and 6th place in that list.
